When No One Else Can Fix It ~ We Can!

We hope to extend our reliable, quality service to You

Fleet Authority History

When the opportunity arose to provide repair and maintenance service for the Reston Connector metro feeder bus system in 1991, Fleet Authority was formed. Located initially in only 1500 square feet in a warehouse in Merrifield, Fleet Authority opened its doors offering service almost exclusively to that bus company. However, Phil Jones the founder, was a native Northern Virginian and a mechanic with twenty years experience already and therefore an established following of customers. Soon, Fleet Authority offered services to the general public. Shortly after opening the doors to the public additional operational space was needed. In 1994, Fleet Authority relocated to its present location in central Fairfax City expanding to a 4700 square foot facility. The facility is equipped to handle up to and including light and medium duty commercial vehicles. If we can pull it in the building, we can work on it. We have a 14 foot bay door entrance, and 30 foot interior ceilings. In 1999, Fleet Authority became an official Virginia State Inspection Station authorized to perform inspections on all makes and models of vehicles as well as trailers and motorcycles. We offer a complete array of services. Pretty much we can fix anything you need. Phil's reputation and expertise results in many other local repair facilities subletting complex repairs to Fleet Authority. Our repairs are performed on site and in-house. Trust the experts at Fleet Authority to assist with your vehicle needs. Call today.
